ProFood Tech Conference Program Session Formats

The learning formats below highlight the various styles of engagement. Formats differ in duration and level of audience participation. Attendees are encouraged to participate in multiple formats for a dynamic experience during their time at ProFood Tech.

Case Study: An opportunity for individuals or organizations to present their research and analyses of projects, policies, institutions or other systems followed by an audience Q&A.

Interactive Lectures: Consist of the more traditional stand-and-deliver presentations with an opportunity for audience interaction and polling.

Learning Labs: A deep-dive, facilitated experience designed to immerse attendees in interactive exercises and discussions.

Panel Discussion: A diverse and focused discussion around a particular topic, followed by audience Q&A.

Pop-Up Sessions: Focus on ideas and content that have “popped up” since the program was published, enliven the conference and give people a chance to showcase their work and help others develop new skills.

Roundtable: Serious, in-depth discussions and problem solving with industry colleagues, where participants share personal experiences and gain from the experiences of others in their field.

Workshops: An in-depth, instructional program with hands-on learning and specific takeaways.
